What would it take to build a place where people truly belong?

Most organizations talk about belonging.
Few are designed for it.

The Building Belonging Series is a cohort-based learning and design experience for leaders ready to move from intention to action.

THE opportunity

Let’s be honest.

People don’t disengage randomly.

They respond to environments where:

  • dignity is inconsistent

  • voice is uneven

  • systems reproduce the same outcomes

  • belonging is conditional

You’ve seen it.

  • People shrink to fit in

  • Leadership feels constrained

  • “Equity” gets discussed but not operationalized

  • The same groups continue to struggle

That’s not a people problem.

That’s a design problem.

the invitation

The Building Belonging Series is not a training. It’s a leadership and systems design experience.

Over five months, you will:

  • examine how belonging is shaped by identity, systems, and leadership

  • identify where your environment breaks down

  • design practical strategies that shift real outcomes

  • build a Belonging Prototype grounded in your context

WHO THIS IS FOR

This experience is for:

  • educators and school leaders

  • organizational and nonprofit leaders

  • HR and culture leaders

  • community builders and facilitators

  • anyone responsible for shaping environments where people work, learn, or gather

If you’ve ever asked:

  • “Why does this keep happening?”

  • “Why aren’t our efforts working?”

  • “What would it actually take to change this?”

You’re in the right place.

Each session includes:

  • concept framing grounded in research

  • real-world case exploration

  • facilitated dialogue

  • House-based collaboration

  • design studio application

You won’t just learn.

You’ll build.

Five house insignias labeled Presence, Horizon, Bridge, Hearth, and Echo, each with a unique symbol and a phrase about acceptance, being needed, welcome, or heard.

HOUSES OF BELONGING

You won’t do this work alone.

Participants are placed into Houses:

  • Bridge

  • Echo

  • Horizon

Your House becomes your:

  • peer coaching space

  • design team

  • support system

Belonging is practiced—not just studied.
